On October 16, 2026, the Policy Briefing Session for International Faculty was held at Nanjing University's Xianlin Campus. Experts from the Nanjing Exit-Entry Administration and Gulou District Tax Bureau were invited to give guidance.

The session helped international NJU faculty better understand visa-free entry, residence permits, the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, individual income tax, and departure tax refunds. Officer Piao Ailin and tax officials Lu Tianyu and Chen Shuyi also answered questions on site.

Nearly 20 faculty members from eight schools joined the session. Cao Yi, Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs, said the university would keep bringing front-line policy support directly to international colleagues.
